I am so excited! My new play, The Importance Of Being Oscar, is going to premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival this summer! This will be the first time a stand-alone play of mine will be produced, as I've only had plays put on before as short play collections. Did I mention I am over the moon and thrilled?! The festival isn't till June, which is probably a good thing, since I'm still doing rewrites and currently reading Constance: The Tragic and Scandalous Life of Mrs. Oscar Wilde by Franny Moyle to help me flesh out Oscar's wife in the show. Nonetheless, I can't wait to see my play! Ok, I should probably go work on those edits now, but here's a quick sneak peek from our first table read. We're all doing the 'Oscar' pose. :)
